Independent institutes thoroughly test the materials of our products and their processing at regular intervals.
In these tests, all materials and products are subject to rugged treatment and precise analyses. Thus, we strive to ensure and certify that our products and craftsmanship are of the highest standard and to provide you with comprehensible evidence of this. Our products have been tested by the following institutes:

(Austrian Working Group for Promoting Quality)
The Austria seal of quality
provides consumers with the certainty that they have received a product or a
service with a certified high level of quality. This
award is presented by The Austrian Working Group to Support Quality, the OQA,
and is awarded to quality products and services deriving from Austria. For
companies such as Wenatex, the seal of quality is a certification that the products
comply with the highest quality standards. It provides our customers with the
certainty that they have purchased top quality products and represents a symbol

TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH
TÜV
Rheinland LGA Products GmbH (Technical Control Board) tests our products with
regard to quality, long-term durability, and safety (GS – Safety Tested -
Certificate). The TOXPROOF test mark is also awarded to products that are
particularly environmentally compatible, such as those manufactured by Wenatex.
The tested and TOXPROOF certified products provide the security and peace of
mind that they pose no health risks.

Our test
laboratory is equipped with a quality control machine in accordance with DIN
1957 and the LGA (State Trade Agency) Directives. This enables us, among other
things, to perform quality tests on mattresses and regularly exchange
information with the LGA Furniture Testing Institute in Nuremberg. This
informal exchange takes into account the commonly performed tests on samples in
order to be able to compare test results and improve the level of
reproducibility.

HOLZFORSCHUNG Austria
Holzforschung Austria is an independent research and
testing institute, which is accredited for the testing and monitoring of wooden
products and their production. The test and monitoring reports
presented by Holzforschung Austria provide an important basis to support
decisions regarding the award of the Austria seal of quality, the OQA. If a
company such as Wenatex has received the Austria seal of quality for its products,
their customers can be certain that the company manufactures and sells
top-quality products. Holzforschung Austria is internationally recognised and,
due to their testing and monitoring activities, provides a valuable

International Oeko-Tex®
Association
Confidence in textiles – this
is the motto of the independent test institutes of the International Oeko-Tex®
Association, which perform tests concerning harmful substances in accordance
with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100. All kinds of textile products, which are
absolutely harmless to health, can receive the Oeko-Tex® Label and provide the
customer with guaranteed certainty that the textile in question is in fact a
skin-friendly product. The more intensive the level of skin contact with a
textile product (and the more sensitive the skin), the higher the
human-ecological requirements that are to be fulfilled. The classification is
divided up into four product classes, whereby product class I, which is the
group under which Wenatex products are classified, is also suitable for babies
and small children. “Confidence in textiles” is an international synonym for
responsible textile production – from the raw material to the finished product

Austrian Research Institute for
Chemistry and Technology (ofi)
The ofi is
one of the largest testing and research institutes in Austria.
The main focus of work performed at the institute concerns testing, analysis,
monitoring, quality assurance and certification. The institute provides this
service for internationally operating companies, such as Wenatex, as well as
for numerous other organisations and both small and medium-sized companies. Due
to the performance of tests and certification of products by ofi for various
companies, customers are provided with the assurance that the highest quality
standards have been achieved. The Wenatex test report is released with the
approval of the ofi and is applied exclusively as the General Report. The test
report is not suitable to be applied as a basis for decision-making. (Source:

Institute of Ergonomics in Munich (EIM)
The Institute
of Ergonomics in Munich tests our SilverMed® Deluxe Mattress and the Wenaflex
box spring with regard to an ideal formfitting adaptability and optimum
recumbency comfort for healthy sleep. Wenatex receives the “ergonomic
recumbency comfort" certificate for both of these products.
